Hotel Info -- 2017 Reunion

The Orleans Hotel's special rate as of February 9, 2017: $58 per night + $18 Resort Fee = $76 per night plus tax.  Also, it is an additional $15 each for a third and fourth person.

There are also special rates ($131 + $18 = $149 per night) for the two weekend nights preceeding the Reunion, and Thursday night ($58 + $18) and the two weekend nights ($131 + $18) following the Reunion.

To book your room at these special rates, call 800-675-3267, then, when prompted, press 1.  When a "reservations specialist" comes on the line, tell him/her that your "Group Name" is "Ambassador College Reunion" and your "Reservation ID" is A7AMC03.

The Orleans Hotel and Casino, 4500 W. Tropicana Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89103, has a limited number of rooms available during the Reunion, and there is no guarantee one will be open -- so make your reservations ASAP.

The Orleans explains that the mandatory daily $18 Resort Fee covers "in-room Wi-Fi, access to the Fitness Center, in-room coffee, in-room safe, unlimited local & 800 calls as well as free Wi-Fi in Java Vegas Coffee Shop & High-Speed Internet Access in our Business Center."

Both valet-parking and self-parking are free, but please tip the valet when your car is retrieved.

Penalty-free cancellation is allowed up to 48 hours before arrival.

>> Note:  At the time you make your reservation, your credit card will be billed a deposit equal to the cost of the first night, and that amount will depend on whether your first night is a weekend or weekday.  If you cancel more than 48 hours prior to arrival, the deposit will be refunded to your credit card.

P.S. If the night you want to book at The Orleans is sold-out, you may want to check at the Gold Coast Hotel & Casino.  It is only 1.5 miles away and is owned by Boyd Gaming Corp., the same company which owns The Orleans.  There is a shuttle which runs regularly between The Orleans and the Gold Coast, so attending the Reunion events at The Orleans should not be a problem.  [There are no special room rates for us at the Gold Coast, so you would pay whatever the prevailing rates are for the general public; however the Gold Coast room rates are generally somewhat lower than The Orleans.]
