This is Jan's Son Charles Roemer posting on her behalf.

Janice, Jan, Sissy or Mrs. Roemer depending on how you knew her, but always Mom to me, is no longer with us. She passed on November 29th 2025 primarily from complications with her diabetes. She leaves behind her husband of almost 60 years Charles, who is staying with us to be around family and to get his bearings. I love and miss her so much but i am thankful that she is at rest with god and no longer has to struggle with the many health issues she has fought with over the years.

Mom was born in 1945, and grew up in Texas. she moved to Pasadena for college where she met my dad Charles. They got married in 1966 and planed on starting a family. That plan however took 18 years, and while they always said they had fun trying they were thrilled when their hard work paid off and their son was born in 1985 and then blessed with grand-kiddos in 2019 who have been the absolute joy of her life.

Through her years in Pasadena Jan stayed active in the church helping in small groups, woman’s ministry. In that time she worked in admin, data entry, and legal, working for the church and multiple law firms around the city.

Over the years in good health or poor she has always been an inspiration in the love and kindness she has shown. I know she has been family to so many over the years and I want to convey how loved and blessed she felt to be in everyone's life.

We set up a go fund me for final expenses and a meal train if anyone would like to support.
We are working on setting up an memorial sometime in the near future and will keep everyone posted.
