Cledice Decker (1959)

From Kathy (Mathews) Zimmermann:

Anne Jule came to Pasadena from her home state of Washington in 1972.

Her parents were Swedish and German, which may have influenced
her to study the German language. She and I met in the summer of 1973
while on the last AC German program which had operated for 2 or 3 summers.

She diligently did her job in a nursing home and reached out
with her charming personality to the German people she encountered.
Anne was delightful to be around, and we enjoyed singing together.

After college, she got her teaching degree and was devoted to her work.
I was able to visit her twice over the years while on business or vacation
traveling through WA..

Anne is remembered as a person of great character, faith, and genuineness.

Anne Elizabeth Jule        11/19/1952 – 2/2/2010

Anne Jule went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, February 2, 2010, in Kirkland, WA. She was born Nov. 19, 1952, in Paris, France to James and Brigitta (Gita) Jule, both deceased. She is survived by her brother Eric Jule and nieces Toccara Jule and Triana (Peter) Lantz. Anne was raised in Bellingham, WA, and was a school teacher in the Monroe School District. Teaching kids was her passion. As a faithful member of the United Church of God in Bellevue, Anne was dedicated to her faith in Jesus Christ. With a smile on her face and honesty, kindness and love in her heart, she easily made friends wherever she went. She will be interred at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ferndale.
