Rick Peterson

From Sue Van Hoozer Peterson Blyth on Facebook:

It is with deep sadness I announce the passing of Rick Peterson, a dear friend, the father of my children, Eric and Rhonda Peterson and an all round good person. He had moved to Zephyr Creek Crossing,  Kentucky in February to be near his family after spending many years in Asia and Seattle, WA. Born in Wisconsin, Rick and I graduated from Ambassador College in Pasadena CA in 1971 and married. We lived in CA a number of years where he went onto UCLA and obtained a Masters Degree in Finance and Economics and became an Economic Feasibility Analyst for Economic Research Associates, Arthur Anderson Co., Coldwell Banker and Lehman Brothers (He opened and managed Lehman’s Seoul Korea office.) Rick was an avid world traveler - having been to all 50 states and most countries in Europe, Middle East and Asia. From climbing the Pyramids in Egypt to walking on the Great Wall of China, he experienced many of the wonders of the world. He still had a list of places to visit on his bucket list when he passed unexpectedly due to complications as a result of a battle with myleofibrosis (blood cancer). Rick was a lover of classical music and an accomplished pianist in his younger years. Throughout his life he sought the answer to life’s questions, checking out various religions and philosophies. I think he left this earth fairly satisfied- no regrets. I certainly think the lives of my family were blessed by his caring spirit and he left the world a little better than he found it. RIP Rick....hope to see you again on the other side.
