Leo was an amazing brother-in-law. He was one of the best barbecue chefs ever. (I'm still trying to find a BBQ restaurant that can match his Texas beef brisket and his barbecued beef ribs!) I love looking at the photos of him in his "BBQ Man" costume when he was in BBQ competitions in his native Texas, and he and Georgia shared their love of barbecue with people for miles around from their restaurant, Leo's BBQ, in Blanco, Texas. Leo was a master storyteller, and the king of humor You couldn't be around him and not laugh, no matter what was going on in your life. Even when he was waging his battle with cancer, he never lost his sense of humor (as evidenced by the fact that he chose to be buried in his BBQ Man costume!) Leo left his mark on everyone who knew him, and those of us who were privileged to call him family love him and miss him still!
