TRIBUTE TO BILLIE KAY HUSE

Doris and I were sorry to hear about the death of Billie Kay Huse who died last December. Even though in recent years we were not close to Clarence and Billie Kay we were among those who were associated with and respected them as "fellow workers" in the Worldwide Church.

Clarence and Billie Kay, not long after they were united in marriage arrived in Sydney, Australia in the early '60's to be a part of our staff. Billie Kay was immediately established as the receptionist, telephone operator and secretary in the office. Clarence went to work as
an assistant Pastor in the visiting program for the Sydney Church.

Billie Kay was always a sweet and pleasant person who was devoted to her husband and to her Faith. She and Clarence blended with our "American" group of workers in Australia very well and were enjoyed and respected by all.

Before we established an office in New Zealand, Clarence accompanied me on the very first baptizing and visiting tour of the WCG to New Zealand. This was a Great Learning experience for both of us and it gave Billie Kay a taste of what it meant to be a 'widow' for a short time for the sake of serving others. She spent much of her life serving others and offering support where she saw a genuine need. She did this in her own quiet way, not trying to be in the limelight.

Billie Kay will be sorely missed by her family and loved ones. Our sincere condolences
and prayers are with them!

Wayne Cole (and Doris)
