Robin Connelly (1965)

I remember Ron as a soft spoken gentleman -- who participated in many of the activities available at Ambassador.  I do wish I had had more time to develop a deeper friendship, but working full time (and overtime) much of my last 3 years -- my closest friends were those with whom I worked.    I did see Ron once or twice at church conferences over the years, and he had the gentlemanly skill to stay positive.

Ron Wallen was among the kindest, gentlest men I have ever known.  I hesitantly add the word "sweet."  There was no sense of stature with Ron; everyone was on and equal basis.  My wife Hazel lived with Ron's wife Rosemary a short while before we each married.  We stayed in touch and the Wallens hosted us one year at the Jekyll Island feast sight, assigning one of his church leaders to take care of us and we felt like king and queen.  I can see shy Ron got fed up with legalism and started his own group.  I will always remember him fondly.  Does anyone know about the status of Mrs. Wallen?
