We are sad to announce that on January 22, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Renee Madeline Hon (Meridian, Idaho), born in Leavenworth, Kansas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Ramon Diaz and Marjorie Diaz; her former husband Byron Smythe; and her brother Philip Diaz. She is survived by : her husband James Hon of Idaho; her siblings, Denise McNeil of Idaho and Ramon Diaz of Florida; her children, Brendan (Michele Smythe), Serena (Christopher Ecton), Robyn (Joshua Pinkert), Kristin (James Escobar) and Amanda (Michael Carothers); her grandchildren, Brendan Smythe, Talya Edwards, Elizabeth Smythe, Andrew Smythe, Luke Ecton, Brogan Ecton, Jared Ecton, Lourdes Pinkert, Gavin Smythe, Zion Pinkert, Uri Pinkert, Tyler Hon, Audrey Escobar, Grace Escobar, James Escobar, Makayla Carothers, Kinsley Carothers and Owen Carothers; her great grandchild Byron Smythe; her niece Lena Lipkowitz of California; and her nephew Timothy McNeil of Washington.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 25th 2022 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Meridian Cemetery (895 E Franklin Rd, Meridian, ID 83642).

Julia Kinstle (Yoder) (1970)

First thought about Renee: such a sweet young lady. She touched many lives in good, positive ways.
