Sara Anderson (Scott) - Year Entered 1965

Sara Anderson (Scott)

Friday, December 29, 2017 9:50 PM

My beloved Wife, Sara of 50 years, passed away this evening at 7:50 pm. peaceably while surrounded by my two youngest children, Jody and Billy, my niece, Christine and me. We were able to include my daughters, Michelle and Jenifer and their families in the last few minutes of Sara's life via a cell phone call. We prayed over her and anointed her with oil asking God to receive and look after her spirit. She is in a much better place now in her place of protection away from the evils of this present world. Michelle and Jen will be flying in tomorrow to be with us. Please pray that they will have a safe trip to be with us.

God, in His mercy took Sara quickly. It was appropriate that God gave her rest from her sickness on His rest day. We are taking care of her burial arrangements without fanfare. There will no funeral per her instructions. She will be interred in a crypt near where her deceased mother's crypt is located at Mountain View Cemetery in Altadena, California not far from our home. We may have some sort of a remembrance of her life sometime in the future. We will work those details out later.

My family and I are eternally grateful for all your fervent prayers and your love for her. They were answered! She will be sorely missed by us and many of you who knew this very gentle, graceful and wonderful woman.

With love,

Bill Scott

Bill, we were saddened to hear about dear Sara. We’ll always remember how kind and loving she was. Glad to hear your children will be near during this time and what a blessing to have shared 50 years of marriage!

Best regards,
Dick and Judy (Florence) Rand

I was very cose to Bill and Sara when I attended Ambassador in the 60's and when Bill and I worked ffor the Architectural Engineering Department up into the 70's. When I moved to Wisconsin in 1974, Bill and I continued to work together on AC projects and other outside projects.. We spent a fine day touring the Getty Museum with Bill and Sara about 3 years ago when my wife Debbie and I had a long layover in LA on our way to a SE Asia trip. They are both fine people and Sara fought a courageous batle up to the end against cancer.
