Bob was a good friend and work mate, a fine man and dedicated employee for a long time in DPC/CIS.  We were in his home numerous times with him and his wife Jeanette, as they were in mine.  Our daughter Rose and their daughter Allison were good friends.  I had had little contact with him after leaving Pasadena in early 1995.  The In Memory notification was the first I heard of his passing and I have no idea what this vibrant man in his 60's, I think, may have died of/from.  Does anyone, Cledice or somebody, have any info on his death?  Thanks   JR

Wow! I hadn't heard either. Bob entered AC the same year as I did. I think he was two years older than me, so he may have been 69 or 70. I had heard that he had cancer a few months ago and wasn't doing too well.

I can't believe such a wonderful man is gone. I have so many pleasant memories with him and many Saturday evenings at potlucks at their house or at dinner in a restaurant. Cancer is so hard... He was loved by many.

Our dear friend, Bob Bordeaux, age 69, died at home on March 1, 2018.

He was diagnosed with a very aggressive brain tumor in late May 2017.  He had surgery to remove the tumor and subsequent medical treatment as well as trying alternative methods but the cancer returned.

Bob requested that no service be held and it was decided to have a potluck at his home in his memory on Sunday, March 18, 2018.  He and Janet held many such potlucks in their home over the years and it seemed a fitting way to honor him.

If you are interested in attending please let me know and I will forward the Evite invitation so you can notify those who are planning this occasion that you wish to attend.

Please pray for Bob's wife, Janet, and for his many family members and friends who will greatly miss his daily presence in their lives.

Cards may be sent to:

Janet Bordeaux   (pronouced Jeanette)

505 E. Elizabeth

Pasadena, CA 91104

She would also appreciate any personal stories you might wish to send to her.
