William “Bill” C. Cowan, Jr., 76, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. He was the son of the late William Curtis Cowan, Sr., and Violet Elizabeth Cowan and was preceded in death by his son, Ronald Lee Cowan. Bill received his Bachelor’s degree from Ambassador College in Pasadena, California. He was a retired minister with the United Church of God International Association. He was an avid fisherman and eagle collector and enthusiast. His greatest love was spending time with his family and members of his church. Survivors include his wife, Betty Cowan, son, Rod Cowan, both of Ooltewah, TN, daughter and son-in-law, Michelle (Tim) Rickard, of Mansfield, TX, sister and brother-in-law, Norma (Roy) Holladay, of Ooltewah, TN, four grandchildren and five nephews. A private memorial service will be held in Texas at a later date.
