After a protracted battle with cancer, Arthur Robert Craig, of Marietta, GA, died in his home surrounded by his family on April 17, 2016. He was 77 years old. Arthur was born on July 10, 1938 in Memphis, TN, to father Orga Virgil Otto Craig and mother Henrietta Earline Stone Craig. He grew up in Memphis and northwest Mississippi. He attended Ole Miss and then transferred to Ambassador College in Pasadena, CA. He was ordained into the ministry of the Worldwide Church of God upon graduation in 1962. He devoted his life to God, Biblical scholarship, his family, and serving others. Arthur married his high school sweetheart, Frankie Horne, on July 30, 1962. The couple had 4 children and lived in various places around the country as Arthur traveled to fulfill his ministerial duties for the church. After retiring from the church in 1975, he and his family moved to Georgia, where he founded the nonprofit organization the Revelation of Christian Knowledge and ran his own audiovisual production business until his retirement. He was an accomplished orator, photographer, and musician. Arthur is survived by his wife Frankie; his son Littlejohn (Christal); his daughters Althea Caces (Patricio) and Carissa Gilman (Jhaysin); his grandchildren Jessica Allomong, Patrick Allomong, Isaac Craig, and Noah Caces; his brother, Orga, his sister Yvonne, and his half sisters Patricia and Anita. He is preceded in death by his oldest daughter Trina Allomong and his parents. Arthur requested to be cremated, and no services will be held. The family would especially like to thank the staff of Halcyon Hospice for their attentive care. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the American Cancer Society.
