Brian Glenn Doig died August 9, 2022 at his home in Conroe, TX at the age of 71 after a few years of health challenges. Along with a lifelong passion for reading he enjoyed many years of running and competed in the Senior Olympics in his late 50’s, competing in several sprint categories and the long jump. He also loved the opportunities for wonderful hunting and fishing in the years he lived in Alaska. He is survived by his three sons: Justin, Brian (Crystal) and Ethan and three granddaughters, Marie, Jane and Kate Doig and his sister, Vicki (Raymond) Woods. He was recently retired from teaching as a professor at Western New Mexico University in Silver City, NM after receiving his Ph.D. in Counselor Education in 2012. He spent earlier years after graduating from Ambassador College serving in the ministry in Canada, Alaska, Kansas, Louisiana and California.
