Donald L. Eastman, age 63, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008 at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton from pneumonia.

Funeral services will be at the Canton United Methodist Church at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, January 31, 2008 with Rev. Ron Johnson officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 8:00 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home in Canton.

Donald was born in Canton, SD to Floyd and Gladys (Iseminger) Eastman on February 24, 1944. Donald is a graduate of Canton High School and attended South Dakota State University in Brookings, and Ambassador College in Pasadena, California. He lived most of his adult life in Beloit, Iowa; Sioux Falls and Yankton, South Dakota. He had been a resident of Sunset Manor of Irene, SD since March 11, 2005. He was a member of Canton United Methodist Church. Donald enjoyed fishing with his son and playing cards with his niece and nephews.ion1');

He is survived by his son, Daniel Lee of Hawarden, IA; one brother, Dayle of Beloit, IA; one sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Clair Welbon of Madison, SD; one niece and five nephews; as well as four great nieces, three great nephews, and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
