There are people in our lives who we may know on a casual or surface level. They are there, we know each other's names, we exchange brief greetings. But there may also be a moment, a comment. an action, a something that makes these people suddenly for that moment, that comment/action, that something stand out in one's memory. Eva is that for me. One day, a comment, an indication of greater awareness of me, and suddenly Eva became and has continued for me through the years to be a vivid part of the memories of my freshman year at AC. Rest in peace, Eva, you were special to me.
