Mrs. Nancy Jo Hall was born August 1, 1951, in Rochester, New York, the daughter of George Albert and Genevieve Johnette (Griffis) Embury. She passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013 in Hospice of East Texas hospice center, in Tyler, Texas.
Mrs. Hall lived in Lindale since 2007. She was a member of the Living Church of God, serving God's People for nearly 38 years alongside her beloved husband, Daniel C. Hall, Regional Pastor.
Mrs. Hall was a retired Registered Nurse. Mrs. Hall had a distinguished and active Nursing Career in Mobile, AL, serving as Director of Nursing for Mid South Home Health. She also was the Director of Marketing/Patient Care Coordinator for Kare-In-Home Health Services, Mobile, AL. She was honored and appointed as President of the Case Management Society of the Gulf Coast, Inc, 2006-2007, as well as President Elect, 2005-2006. Mrs. Hall graduated with honors, Summa Cum Laude, from Louisiana State University at Alexandria with an Associates Degree in Nursing, 1995. She also has a Bachelor's Degree in Theology from Ambassador College, Pasadena, CA, 1974.
She was preceded in death by her father George Albert Embury of Waycross, Georgia.
Mrs. Hall is survived by her beloved husband, of almost 38 years, Daniel C. Hall, of Lindale; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Reynaldo Colon of Charlotte, North Carolina; son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Elizabeth Hall of Alabaster, Alabama; mother, Genevieve Embury of Waycross, Georgia; brother, Stephen Embury of Waycross, Georgia; granddaughters, Emma Jolye Hall and Julia Elizabeth Hall both of Alabaster, Alabama and Genevieve Isabella Colon and Vivian Elise Colon both of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Memorial services for Nancy Jo Hall, age 61, of Lindale, are scheduled in the Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bob G. League officiating.
Nancy and I knew each other in Florida in high school. She was an extremely intelligent personable individual with a strong sense of self and what she wanted in life. I was just thinking about her the other day and stumbled across her name in this list, so am sad to hear she is no longer with us.

Nancy was married to Dan Hall (AC Pasadena 1973 grad) who was a WCG minister for a many years.
