OBITUARY

Karen Anne Diehl, 68, passed away on Dec 19, 2018 in Columbia, SC.

Visitation will be at 1:00pm on Friday, December 28, 2018 with a funeral service to follow at 2:00pm at Kornegay and Moseley Funeral Home. Eric Etep of Village Church will officiate. Arrangements are by Kornegay and Moseley Funeral Home.

Karen was born in San Angelo, TX to Reinhold Victor and Katherine Fuessel on July 17, 1950. She went to school at Wall High School in Texas. She graduated from Ambassador College in Pasadena, CA. She worked as an Educator for Handiquilter for many years. She was an active member of Village Church and was involved in the choir. She was completely selfless and lived her life giving to others in need. She made pillow cases for the children at the children’s hospital every Christmas. She gave to many charities and donated her time and talent whenever she could. She had a love and faith in Christ out Savior that was absolutely contagious. She was the most positive person in ANY and EVERY situation. She was the most loving and generous mother and nana anyone could ask for. She absolutely adored her children and grandchildren more than anything.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents, RV and Katherine Fuessel.

Karen is survived by her two sons, Jeffrey (Jennifer) and Christopher (Kathryn); her siblings, Reinhold (Shorty), Susie, David, and Vicki; her grandchildren, Sheridan Diehl, Megan Diehl, Lily Diehl, Nicholas Diehl, Vivian Diehl, Ryan Diehl, Brendan Franklin, Kaylee Franklin, and Christopher Franklin.

The family of Karen Ann Diehl wishes to extend their sincere thanks to all at SOCA, Palmetto Hospice, and Village Church.
