Robert Gentet (1957)

While Dave and I were on the Pasadena campus when he attended there, I don't recall ever meeting him. However, his death occurred in Pennsylvania while Marji and I were a short distance away visiting my youngest daughter and family. And so, I attended his funeral service.

I was surprised at the number of former AC students attending the funeral service. I got to meet a number of Dave's relatives as well. It was obvious to me that it would have be great to have known him, based upon the remembrances said of him during the funeral service. His sudden loss to his family and love ones was sad and unexpected. While our paths never passed personally in this life, I look forward to seeing him in the world to come. Thankfully, his family are strong Christians. I was able to publicly give the family the condolences of many of the former AC students who once knew him long ago and have many happy memories.
