Carson died of an aneurism of the aorta, January 19, 1988
He was very dedicated to his work and his family.
Married Verna Baldrey, July 5, 1964
Five children:
Ruth (1966)– married Harvey Friddle , 2 daughters (North Carolina)
Anne(1968) – married Darryl Pifer , 2 sons and 2 daughters (Kentucky)
Lynn (1973)– married Stephen Webb, 3 sons and 1 daughter (North Carolina)
David (1977)– married Mikele Kocher, 2 daughters and 1 son (South Carolina)
Karen(1981) – married Joseph Wulf, one son and 1 daughter (Oregon)
Worked for the Worldwide Church of God in Data Processing for 20 years.
Started AC in 1959 and finished in 1973.
Garry Pifer (1960)
Carson was one of my roommates my freshman year and we spent quite a bit of time together. It never occurred to either of us that one day his daughter and my son would be married.
