Two weeks ago, Tom Hoffman died from a leaking blood vessel in his brain. Tom was 65. He and his wife, Bonnie, live in Palm Desert. Bonnie told me that Tom's sister, Connie, lives in London, England now.
So sorry to hear about Tom. I really enjoyed the friendwhip we had and the time we spent playing basketball together. He was a good team player. I especially remember the fun we had one night doing security duty together during Passover services. Please accept my condolences to all those close to him. - Sincerely, Willie Higgins
I, too, am saddened about the loss of Tom Hoffman. He and first wife Cheryl were friends; our daughter Rose was flower girl in their wedding. Tom and I were very different personalities but had mutual respect and enjoyed hanging out. He reported to me as a student worker in the old Data Processing Dept. at WCG HQs in Pasadena. We moved back there 2/15 and was fortunaate to see Tom and 2nd wife Bonnie on two occasions.
I'm sorry those times are the last ones, but so thankful they happened. Tom Hoffman--a genuinely good guy. I'm heavy-hearted right now but grateful for his friendship.
I'm so sorry to hear of another classmate's passing. I remember Tom well. So many years have passed since I've seen him, it's hard to believe. My prayers go out for his family and the loved ones he left behind. He was a great guy!
