Love Story
In 1968 Joyce was chosen as a transfer student to the sister campus in Bricket Wood, England. While there she met a graduate named Richard who came back to visit his alma mater frequently. On one of these visits she fell in love with him and he did too. Their love story did not end after he was transferred to Baltimore-Washington DC in late September of 1968 and they continued their trans-Atlantic romance and shortly after were engaged in January. When she returned to the USA in June of 1969 they were married in Falls Church, Virginia and one year later they had their first child, Suzi and their family began to grow from there.

Travels
From 1970 to 1974 they lived in Jerusalem, Israel representing the Ambassador Cultural Foundation bringing students to work at the Temple Mount Excavations. The year 1974 to 1976 they were sent to pastor all over England in many places, such as, Sheffield, Hull and Newcastle. In the year 1976 Joyce and Richard came back to the USA where they pastored in New Jersey from 1976-1980. They lived and served in Washington, DC from 1980 to 1991 and then moved to Chicago in 1991 where they have pastored in Chicago, Illinois and Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Faith Story
Joyce walked with God all her life, she was always full of love, faith and hope. Joyce accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior 57 years ago in Springville, New York. She lived her life as Christ would have lived it. She followed the direction of the Holy Spirit inside of her. She believed in one God, eternally existing in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. She believed that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit and is true God and true man. She believed that we are saved by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. That all who receive Christ through repentance and faith are born again of the spirit and become children of God. She believed that the Bible is the revealed word of God, as inspired by the Holy Spirit and that is the final authority in faith & life. Her prayer for all was for every man, woman and child to come to Christ and enter into the kingdom of God.

In 1990 Joyce was diagnosed with stage 5 Lymphatic cancer and spent six weeks in the hospital receiving her own bone marrow. Since then she has been on blood thinners and has had many scares along the way but God delivered her. Six years ago she developed Alzheimers and has gone down ever since but her faith had kept her strong and she has had several visions of going home to be with God, where she is now and wants everyone she loves to be with her in the kingdom of God.
