In Loving Memory of Joseph Kirk Seab

Our beloved Joseph Kirk Seab of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2025, at 4:45 a.m., at the age of 88, with his family by his side. He is deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his former wife, Dianne (Poirier) Seab, his children Kerry Seab and Kelly Seab-Tetrick, and his son-in-law Kevin Tetrick.

Joseph was born on March 21, 1937, in Vicksburg, Mississippi, to the late Joseph Kirk and Louise (Field) Seab. He was raised in Tallulah, Louisiana, and graduated from Tallulah High School. His pursuit of knowledge and passion for engineering led him to study at Mars Hill University in North Carolina, followed by Ambassador College in Pasadena, California. He later returned to Louisiana to complete his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at LSU in Baton Rouge.

Professionally, Joseph was a dedicated marketing and project manager with Square D/Schneider Electric. He worked tirelessly to provide for his family and took great pleasure in doing so. He was a man of strong faith, drawing comfort and direction from the Bible throughout his life.

Joseph loved spending time with his family and friends. He brought warmth, wisdom, and joy into every room. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love and devotion will live on in all who knew him.

A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, May 12, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., with a memorial service at 4:00 p.m. officiated by Mr. Gary Petty of United Church of God. The service will be held at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home, 820 S Church Street, Murfreesboro, TN.
