It saddens me to announce the passing of my father Charles (Chuck) Oehlman today. He was in rehab working to recover from a fall, and passed in his sleep early this morning. I am here in Prescott, AZ, his home for the past 14 years, and saw him last night. He was chirpy and smiling as he munched on a chocolate chip cookie while watching Jeopardy. He was approaching 90, and will be sorely missed.

1 will remember him fondly. He Baptized me in 1976 while I was an AC student. He helped me understand the truth of God and the need to be committed to God. At the time I had only been attending church for about a year.My condolences to his family.
Ken Emerson (1970)
I was an Ambassador Club President my senior year at AC. He was the director. I got to know him a little bit and really enjoyed his friendship. Rest in peace...
Charlotte Cordell (Whitting) (1968)
Mr Oehlman married Peter and I in 1972, what I remember most about him was his unique sense of humor, I think he was Dean of Students my senior year and was a real friend to so many of the students in his down to earth style, condolences to the familyBarbara Patton (Unger) (1971)
I recall his vibrant personality as he was Dean of Students most of my college years (1971-1975). He baptized me in 1971 and was most helpful and kind when I was hospitalized with a ruptured appendix my senior year. It seemed that he and his wife were well-loved by all the students. Sending love and appreciation to his family.
Nick Bohonik (1969)
I've always considered "Chuck" a good friend ever since meeting Mr. Oehlman at AC Pasadena in 1969. He was genuine, considerate, kind, a good listener, and many, many other wonderful things! We continued our friendship on Facebook these many years later.
