Thanx Ruth, it was a bit of a shock, but since Gail had wrestled with the deaths of 2 infants within one year's time early on in her marriage to Stan, her life seemed to go downhill from there. They divorced around 1980, after successfully having had a daughter, Vanessa, (who currently lives in the St. Louis area with her 3 children--we've got more of a mother/daughter relationship, so this is fortunately helping her to cope with the news.) After the divorce, Gail spent the rest of her life struggling with bipolar depression and Seasonal Affective Disorder, refusing help/medical intervention, so, it certainly took it's toll on her emotionally and MOST certainly physically. I'm sure this is actually what brought her to an early end.

You will be missed, my beautiful twin sister! But we shall meet again, under far better circumstances!

I am so sorry for your loss. Gail was a beautiful and vibrant person. I have fond memories of our time together in Pasadena.

Even so, Gwen, still a shock. Prayers for her daughter and the rest of the family.Gwen Petals (Biedler) (1968)
