Deceased Classmate: 1974 Lana Quartullo Date Of Birth: Date Deceased: 1994 Age at Death: 39 Cause of Death: Adrenocortical carcinoma Classmate City: Rapid City Classmate State: SD Classmate Country: USA Survived By: husband Chuck Pydynkowski and 4 children James, Michael, Andrew, and Gina
Lana was a wonderful person, talented, funny, and a good friend.
Lana was a student in my art classes. She was quite talented, and helped me out with chores. She was bright, attractive, talented and had a great work ethic. I remember when she came to me in tears in her sophomore year, telling me that she had to leave college. Her father had died suddenly from a heart attack, and she was needed at home. I was very sorry to see her go, but had lost my own mother at age 17, so I understood. I helped her with transporatation costs back home, and thought of her for many years--but I didn't know how to get in touch with her. I am saddened today to learn that she died at a very early age. Hopefully, her four children will carry on with her dreams.
