Death of Janice Foster
Our family is deeply saddened to inform you that our mother, Janice Foster, died this morning, November 27. 2016. As many of you know, she has been fighting stage 4 cancer for the past year. We are relieved that her suffering has ended, and now look forward to the better day that is coming.
Mom was born in beautiful Red River, New Mexico, to Charles and Marie Roemer in 1941. A strong willed, yet tenderhearted youth, she endeavored to break wild horses in a gentle manner. This strength and determination was molded and shaped by God to be used powerfully to serve His people. She attended Ambassador College where she met and married her loving husband of 56 years, Roger Foster. She served her family and the church, faithfully, for many, many years. No matter where they served, California, Texas, Kansas, North Carolina, Florida, Washington, Arizona, Mom was renowned for her kindness and compassion. She was a source of strength through difficult times. Her wisdom proved invaluable to those who would seek her counsel.
A private family service was planned for this past week. A public memorial will be held soon.
