“Joseph M. Smith was born in Belleville, Michigan on April 27, 1945. He died on Dec. 6, 2015 in a hospital in Puyallup, Washington of an abdominal aortic dissection - internal bleeding.”
Joe was my room mate during my freshman year, and one of the first students I got to know very well at AC. His enthusiasm for AC and the church set a good example for me.
Judy, Thank you for your response to my recent post where I quoted an article listing some of the present President's accomplishments. I did not know about the STF, but was surprised at the responses from some posters who assumed I was trying to play politics. I don't consider stating facts, as political. If my current President was a liberal, I'd still be interested to know his or her accomplishments, even tho I am a conservative. I love facts, because they have no political bias! "They are what they are"! At any rate, thank you for appreciating the post. P.S. apparently you are using your husband's acct to post on the Forum. I was at AC '66 to '70, and unfortunately do not recall either of you. I am sorry to hear of your husband's passing last year, and wish you God's comfort through the grief puocess.
