Obituary

Dianne Marie Stansbury Vinson Calder

Dianne Marie Stansbury Vinson Calder lost her courageous battle with cancer on Feb. 22, 2019. She was born July 15, 1955 in Seattle, Washington. Her early childhood was spent in and around Shelton, Washington. In 1969, the family moved to Spanaway, Washington where Dianne graduated with honors from Bethel High School. She went on to attend Ambassador College in Pasadena, California (1973 to 1976). She earned a bachelor of science degree in human development from Warner Pacific College, Portland, Oregon and a medical assistant degree from Everest College in Bremerton, Washington—all with honors. Dianne loved gardening and became a Master Gardener. She also enjoyed crocheting, knitting, needle point, sewing, baking, photography, science, drawing maps, doing jigsaw puzzles, playing the flute and she even dabbled a little in writing poetry. Dianne was happy on the water boating and fishing, on the dance floor dancing or listening to beautiful or happy music. The most enjoyment for her came from the scriptures and from her children, grandchildren and family. Dianne is survived by her husband, Tim Calder; parents, Mary and Charlie Green; brother, Dale Stansbury (Dana); sister, Doreen Stansbury Delamater; daughter, Shanna Vinson Siporin (Lev); son, Sean Vinson (Sarah), (father, Dana); grandchildren, Olivia and Louis Siporin; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and friends. She will be greatly missed and we look forward to seeing her again! We wish to thank the many brethren, worldwide and locally, for their many cards, prayers and support during Dianne’s illness, and through and after the memorial. It is most appreciated!
