Gail, I owe you a big apology for misspelling your name in Post 7641! Forgive me :(

Gail, Hi! I just saw your then and now pictures and laughed out loud (as they say LOL). I would recognize you anywhere! (I know that because when I saw you at the reunion in Pasadena, I knew who you were immediately, and you didn't look anything like that picture).

I was not reading the posts for such a long time. I'm not entirely sure why. I think it was because there were so many decisive ideas and I didn't feel a part of any of them. I have my own personal beliefs. I don't believe much of the bible. The old testament, to my way of thinking, is based mostly on old Jewish myths and the new testament is just the catholic church trying to brainwash us...no basis for any of my beliefs.

Anyway, I just wanted you to know that I have always thought your posts to be from the heart. Some of them my be a little harsh, but some of them are full of love, compassion and concern, and I know I'm not the only one who finds that to be a treasure.

You take care of yourself.

Thanks for the great link about Trump sending his plane to pick up our stranded warriors. I sent it to a "Never Trump" guy I know. This coming election is something else, far beyond anything I've seen in my short life. jds

Gail, this is such a belated response to your message to me. Apologies! I just have not been able to keep up with these posting for the last little while. I really did appreciate your words abut me in college; they came at a time when I needed something like that. Thank you.! Yes, I do need to get with it and join this forum. I confess to so many thoughts being generated by the various subjects; and they move so quickly. Your idea of being able to search posts by a person's name is a good one and something I have often wished existed. By the way, what brought you to Hemet and from what did you retire?

Is there a tweak that can be made on the General Message Forum so that you can search for an old post by by someone using the persons name?
