John, a friend just sent me this very powerful and sobering video. If you haven't seen it I thought you may find it interesting. I had 2 brothers that went through WW ll in Germany and one in the Pacific, mostly the Phillipines which was also hell on earth. My oldest brother fighting in Germany went hungry and barely survived the winters but thankfully was not a POW. However he too would never discuss the details. You may have to type the link in to play it as I did not post it by "add video". Doris

Dear Fred, I just noticed you're no longer married to Lucretia. I always believed yours was a match made in heaven. So very sorry you lost that lovely lass. I see that God has now graciously given you a new bride. May He continue to comfort and bless you both with every good thing -- which I'm certain will always be true. God speed you both. jds

You are SO encouraging. Thank you! jds
Great story, Ernie. For me, before reading this you were just a friendly, gregarious guy in Mail Reading. Thanks! jds
Sincere condolences on the loss of your beloved brother, Eric. Words fail. All the best and kindest to you and Karen. John & Michelle Schroeder

Dr. Schroeder -- I would like to point you to Arts and Letters Daily, a wonderful compilation of the latest writings in philosophy, literature, religion, et al. One book review you might enjoy is "An Intellectual Bio of Gershom Scholem."
Your old friend JOB. :-)

I'm looking for your message! Darn.......:(
Thanks for the great link about Trump sending his plane to pick up our stranded warriors. I sent it to a "Never Trump" guy I know. This coming election is something else, far beyond anything I've seen in my short life. jds
